The statistics shed light on shipping, freight and passenger transport, in Swedish ports and wharves. They are also intended to shed light on the development of the Swedish merchant fleet and its composition and include economic statistics on sea transport and other support services for sea transport.

The statistics are intended to shed light on the development of the Swedish merchant fleet and its composition. The statistics are also intended to shed light on the Swedish shipping industry’s use of Swedish and leased foreign merchant ships and the manning and use of fuel of these ships.
