Statistics shed light on the activity of the municipalities relating to the special transport services and inter-municipal special transport services ; the number of journeys, the number of granted and used permits, and the finances of the activity.
The statistics are intended to show how mobility service and national mobility service activities have developed in Sweden, in the countries and in different municipalities. One current area of use is studies of the relationship between the accessibility of public transport and the development of the national mobility service.
The extent of the study
All municipalities in Sweden are investigated annually.
Publication
A set of tables is published before the summer every year. The report Färdtjänst och Riksfärdtjänst [Special transport service and inter-municicpal special transport services, in Swedish] is published every autumn in printed and electronic format.
