Statistics on local and regional public transport shed light on how the authorities responsible for transport provide publicly financed public transport services in the respective county.
The study is intended to shed light on the development of publicly financed public transport in Sweden as a whole and in the respective county. The service offered, their cost and use of the services by the public.
The extent of the study
The authorities responsible for transport in all counties are asked once a year about the services offered, finances, the number of journeys and passenger kilometres by mode of transport. The study has been carried out since the mid-1980s by the Swedish Public Transport Association (SLTF). The study has been carried out by SIKA since 2004.

The information is published annually in the form of tables and a report available in electronic format.
